Audition day — Aug 22-23, Dee Baldock PAC (103 Lincoln St, Verona)
Prepare:
- Sing ~30 seconds of ANY song, a cappella (no music) — pick something age-appropriate that shows off his voice
- Learn a short dance taught on the spot and perform it
- May be asked to stay 5-10 min to read a few lines
Bring:
- A recent photo, no larger than 4x6 (a simple clear headshot — see Photo below)
- Water bottle
- Comfortable shoes he can dance in
📸 Photo:
- Just Charlie — NOT with the dog, not a group/family shot, not in costume or stage makeup
- Head-and-shoulders, facing camera, plain background, good light, natural smile, hair out of eyes
- A phone photo against a blank wall is perfect — print it 4x6 in color
🎵 Song ideas:

Casting: ~120 kids cast, double-cast into two casts of ~60 — most auditioners get in. Results emailed by Tue Aug 25.

Rehearsals: Sundays 11:00am-1:20pm, Aug 30 -> Nov 15 at VACT (Verona). No rehearsal Sun Sep 6. List all Sunday conflicts on the form.

Performances: Nov 19-21 at Badger Ridge Middle School PAC, Verona (dress rehearsals Nov 16 & 18)
